Personality -
What you see with Cyrus is very seldom what you get. He's got a bit of a twisted personality and just acts however he feels like it at the moment. He's rarely impressed by anything and would just as likely insult someone as spit on them. What others might consider taboo or socially deviant, Cyrus goes right for it all. There are no laws, no rules to bind him. He will follow them just to keep the hindrance of the police off his back. A little blood never hurt anyone right? Cyrus loves three things. Fairy Type pokemon of course, his extensive library, and his trusty whip. Mind you he would never use such a thing on pokemon. Injuring a pokemon is plain absurd but you can bet he'd use it on a human should he not like their behavior. Cyrus isn't large or hulking but he knows how to use his body to the advantage. Quick on his feet he's a match for most adversaries. OF course once Cyrus sets his mind on something he's bound to get it eventually, this goes for things like lovers as well. Once he spots someone he likes, that's it. They must be his and get ready to get claimed by him. Once he sets his goal on anything prepare to have it viciously guarded. He might use pretty words to deter someone from taking the last cream puff but he's more liable to try and take a finger or whole hand if you dare touch what's already his.
Cyrus isn't a social creature. Going out in public is all well and good but he hates large crowds. It's not the noise it's just the people. Their all stupid and pokemon are just generally better. As a mercenary he mainly took jobs involving murder and assassination, though robberies had their perks. He doesn't see right and wrong it's just one big bowl of stew and you can pick and choose what pieces you want. For instance he'll walk on the side walk instead of the street like he supposed to but disregard using traffic lights while driving. While not severe Cyrus does have a disassociation disorder. While it mainly appears when he's on a job or dealing with taking another's life any strong stressful situation can trigger it. Cyrus becomes completely detached from his emotions and persona. He's aware of his actions but doesn't feel in control of them at all. He also spaces out rather easily when bored and can 'loose time' while staring off into space and come back to himself not aware of where he is. As far as memories go, Cyrus has some trouble putting them in order some days. He can recall what day three events happened but get their timing and order mixed up. It doesn't help he keeps odd hours as well. One might easily find him awake at two in the morning taking a shower and eating breakfast.
If anyone close to him is threatened or can be perceived by him to be threatened, Cyrus gets down right violent while protecting them. Some might stop once the threat is knocked down or runs off, not this man. Most likely they will end up injured in some fashion if not dead. He simply can't stop at one punch, the only way the threat is gone is if it's not moving. Things like experiments or dissection don't bother him much at all. Taboo things are often fun and he'd just as easily offer an arm to science and take a knife and explore someones colon. Pokemon are really the only being immune from any violence or twisted thoughts. Cyrus adores the creatures and hopes to hive one giant team one day. Fairy type is his favorite of course but he hopes to try and keep a variety of companions. It is impossible for Cyrus to injure a pokemon himself. He will rescue any from abusive owners and is willing to come to schools to show kids how to properly care for pokemon. Pokemon make the world go round and the more the better. The cuter the better as well. Some may see him as a bit of a bad boy and law breaker walking around with some cute pokemon to soften his image. He could care less if it make him look more approachable or attractive with a cute pokemon held in his arms. Cyrus just likes cute pokemon and it's all about the pokemon.
History -
Cyrus was the first son of a pair of mercenaries. There wasn't anything remarkable about them per se. It wasn't the family business or anything, it was just that breaking the law seemed to be the only thing the Armillio's were good at. With his parents travelling quite a bit, Cyrus was pawned off onto his aunt. She was a kind woman and ran a library. Hey husband was a banker and they had one daughter. She was one year older than Cyrus and loved to order him around. He was fine with this and would toddle after her, curious to what she was doing. In time a younger brother and sister joined him.
However as Cyrus grew into a young teen, he was taken along on easier missions and slowly started to learn the trade. His parents felt that he was finally old enough for some training. Cyrus it seemed had inherited the family traits and took to the trade like he was born for it. At first he hated hurting anyone human or pokemon. However the higher paying jobs would often require someone to loose a little blood. By age twenty Cyrus had split from his parents and was living on his own. He partied and drank to his hearts content. It was no problem to bring men and women back to his room and have his way with them. He was quite the lover back in the day. After he was nearly robbed and overdosed by one of his bed partners, Cyrus finally cut ties with that part of his life and moved on.
The longer Cyrus spent in the shadows the more he noticed just how depraved humanity truly was. He started having less and less sympathy for the people he was sent after. It shouldn't have been a surprise when he had no problem committing his first murder. It was the quick and painless sort and he calmly showered the blood off and went to go spend his hard earned pokedollars. The man picked up reading morose and morbid novels and stayed away from the twisted people living in cities. He took on more and more assassinations and murders until that was what he mainly did. Cyrus was almost caught by the authorities more than once but they could never prove anything. It would do to have a change of pace. This was only reaffirmed when he came across Chika. The boy was wandering around, looking adorable and lost. Something horrible had happened to him that much was apparent but Cyrus took him under his wing. Humans weren't his favorite things but technically the boy wasn't a human and was tolerated. The next item on his to do list was to become a specialized trainer. The fairy type were cute and something he wanted to take a stab at.
