Father didn't need to know this- like, at all- but Angel... wasn't really digging the whole "journey" thing. Oh, sure, he appreciated the freedom, and his two Pokemon were behaving quite wonderfully, and things should have been going great. But growing up in the lab had made him... well, used to modern comforts. Mucking through forests and sleeping on the ground was not his idea of a great time, thank you very much. But he had to train his Pokemon before they could breed, and he was a breeder, and... well, it wasn't exactly the glamorous deal that Father had going back in the lab, that was for sure. He was getting there. He'd get there eventually, really! But for now... he was crawling back to Mirun's with his tail between his legs. And that was alright. |

little did he know that he wasn't going to be the only arbok there. raphael wasn't exactly sure how it had happened, other than apollo had come trotting up to him after one of his periodic disappearances, informing him that lachen had invited them to a party of sorts and that attendance was non-optional. raphael wasn't really sure how he felt about that, since the arcanine had downright refused to tell him who else would be there, but there was no getting between apollo and his benjamin.
which meant he was leaving his other pokemon behind in the care of saggezza and following obediently behind the dog. he was lost in thought, trying to keep his nerves at bay, and was doing a decent job of it- until they rounded that final corner and he found himself staring at the figure of, you guessed it, his hated clone. his eyes widened, and he scrambled backwards, praying to arceus that he could make a quick and easy get away. but of course that wasn't fated to be. apollo gave a little growl and shoved him forward with his nose, sending him stumbling toward his "brother". ### words -- tag Dew |

Oh, hello. Ahha, he kind of liked this Professor person, seemed like he had a lot of fun. If everyone in Night Eye was like this he'd made a wonderful choice indeed! He matched the man's grin, before turning his gaze on the three Pokemon in front of him. Hmmm. Alright, the fire Pokemon was pretty sweet, he had to admit. But... bacon? He wasn't positive what it evolved into but he was pretty sure he didn't want a giant flame pig. Subtle wasn't his style, but just smashing faces in wasn't any fun. For that reason he turned next to the Trubbish- heh, that would be an adventure, if anything. She was sweet, and would probably be underestimated, but he could deal with that. They could definitely work together.
But, oh, the little ghost type was so precious. She was just floating there, smirking at him, and he couldn't help it, he was in love. "Well, whatdya know. Guess we'll be going ghost type, after all!" Yeah, no way he was turning that down. "C'mon, sweetheart, let's go on an adventure, hmm? Thanks, Professor!" He snatched the Pokeball and then was off. To Route One it was! notes - chose misdreavus! |
