Keep in mind demons are created by Giratina in hell and they start out as lesser demons. If they are a higher ranking demon, you must explain how they rose that high. Demons grow by getting power from Giratina and by eating souls (mainly crossroad demons as souls tend to just be a primary food source for demons as a whole). Demons also must have their first name be in Latin. If they choose to take on a middle, last, or nickname, then that can be in any language.

(Every occupation can challenge Gyms. Civilians can also, but they can never challenge the Champion to a Champion match).

Only if the owner agrees for a character. And no. You can not possess an NPC, a Gym Leader, and E4, or any of the Bosses or Champion without Dew's permission. The Champion and Bosses are her characters and you can not possess them.

Keep in mind you must have a powerful demon to possess someone and you can potentially kill someone's character or break them during a possession.

Keep in mind priest are reared in the Church of Arceus and trained to be exorcist from a young age. Priests will not be little teenagers, unless they are currently in training. Those in training will not be very powerful in any form of exorcism, though flinging around holy water never hurt anyone (besides the demons). If you want a fully trained priest and exorcist, look towards character in their early thirties onward.

Yes, but if this demon belongs to a character, you can't without permission. Exorcising a demon requires holy water, salt, a devil's trap, ya know... go watch Supernatural. You'll get it then. There is also a ton of information on exorcism online, so try to find a credible site. The only difference between those and ours, however, is that the Bible is, more or less, the Book of Arceus.

No. That takes work and effort. Not just creation. The strongest exorcist is the High Priest, someone your character can get close to being through roleplay but will probably never obtain the status of. Why? Because the High Priest has a little too much power in the church. If you wish to talk about him, though, in roleplay or your history, we will call him Father Abel.

If you plot with a staffer or someone with a demon, sure! Just expect Mono to say a lot on the matter.

It is hard to exactly say what possession is like. It varies between demons and hosts. Some possessions just include the demon entering the body and easily taking over without much of a fight. This might cause a minor headache and some fatigue. If your mental stability is strong, then there will be more of a fight. This can cause migraines, clawing at the head, thrashing around at nothing in particular, and eventual passing out. Of course, this varies from person to person.

After being possessed, though, there will be a dramatic change in the person. The demon may try to act like their host, though they will obviously have some flaws. Many demons forget that a mortal body needs to be taken care of, so some hosts wither away and end up either being a walking corpse or collapsing on the demon. Other times, the two different mental states will be at constant war with each other. This can cause dramatic mood swings, aggression, etc.

When it comes down to the gijinka and shifters, possession is very dangerous. Usually, there are already two mental beings within a body. Add in a third one, and all hell breaks loose. Possession for gijinka an shifters takes a lot longer than that of a human or normal Pokemon. The demon might be cast out by the other two mental beings, or it can dominate over them. If one mental state is accidentally destroyed through whatever means, then that could leave a feral Pokemon within the vessel or just the human side. Once the demon leaves, this could drive the gijinka or shifter insane or break them entirely.

If you wish for your character to be possessed, please contact both Dew and Monogatari along with someone with a lesser demon. Please take note that, if your character is possessed, you are basically giving the person the right to control your character. If you want to still have a possessed character and be able to control them, then just contact Dew and Mono without anyone else. Both admins must be present in the decision so that we can keep track of every person possessed.

Let's play pretend here. Let's pretend that you are having open heart or brain surgery, yet they did not put you under or administer heavy medication. You can feel all that pain. Oh, look, now a train has smashed into the hospital and into your body! Yeah, it hurts. A lot. If you ever watch exorcism movies, it involves a lot of screaming, sweat, vomit, probably the host's body floating, cursing in Latin from the demon, etc. One wrong move, and everyone in the room could die while the demon and its host walk out like nothing ever happened.

Are you a priest? Yes. Ask someone that owns a demon that possessed something or contact staff. Try to put in some research beforehand, though. Otherwise, Mono will be nagging you.
