ooc: table comes later. psh. This was quite the change of scenery. It was a welcomed change, from the rough and rather dreary ruins of a once great castle to... Well... This was a place he was quite happy with. Being stuck in ruins or alleyways had never been much of his style, coming from the man who grew up in a cell. His true style, though, was that of luxury. The thought of being able to stretch out on a plush lounge chair or to curl up in a bed covered in large pillows made his body tingle, made his head feel light. He could even go as far as to say it made his heart flutter! But, he was getting ahead of himself. No was not the time for such thoughts, for such longings. No, now was the time to do his work.
And, that work was?
To be honest, he didn't know. Something about finding a way into the castle, finding the king, yada yada yada. He might not have listened the entire time. After castle, his mind started to wander. His long, pale tail flicked back and forth as his eyes scanned over a large ground floor window. The fastest way to open it would be just to break it and deal with the consequences afterwards. However, this was a mission of stealth! Or, something... With a soft sigh, he brushed back long red locks before stepping toward the window. He made quick work with opening the window, trying to be as quiet as he possibly could until the glass swung open with a slight creak. Without even a cringe, he slipped through the open window. Bare feet planted themselves on the floor, toe-first, without making even the slightest of sound.
A light shone on him, ears twitching with annoyance as he turned to face the source. "Ha--" the voice of a guard caught in his throat as the redhead ran at him, green eyes flashing red as he touched his forehead to that of the guard's (despite having to stand on his toes). He was quick to hook one arm underneath the guard as he began to fall, slowing down the descent while the other hand caught the flashlight that was about to clatter on the floor. Gently laying the guard down, turning off the flashlight before resting it beside the guard.
Now, what next?

So this was it. With just a handful of pathetic soldiers, they were going to slaughter the king and take hold of the kingdom that murdered their own. Finally. He honestly didn't expect them to win, or to lose many lives of their own in the process but it would be worth it in the end. To see the king fall from his pathetic thrown. Then came the matter of the figurehead, whoever the bloody hell that was. First thing was first though. Breaking in, finding and killing the king. He stepped along the cobble stones leading from the main gates to the castle, behind him, his Greninja snapped the necks of the guards that didn't surrender. It was quiet work that was done quickly before the ninja frog darted past him to find an entrance. Placing his hat on his head and straightening his jacket, One popped his neck before he stepped past the large doors, quickly kicking the guards on the other side and giving them a little shock to put them out. Some of them he wanted alive, just so they could use them later. Guards would know where the king was and where everything else was kept. Money was the least of his worries, but it would be helpful.
Trotting beside him, Dandy gave a small snort at Michael, the frog giving a glare in response, before looking to One for further directions. The werewolf's eyes, however, were focused down a dark hallway. Sniffing the air, he stifled a deep growl in his throat. He smelled a cat. Or cats. And guards. Waving a hand, Michael darted off to go check the hallways for guards and to take out who he could. The man went down the other hallway, heels clicking against the smooth marble, Dandy walking beside him with a royal air. This was a rather nice castle. Poor security. That would have to change when they seized control. Shoving his hands in his pockets, he stopped as he walked past a hallway. Oh, there they were. "Well, well, well," he said in a hissing growl, keeping his voice down but remaining his heavily sassy and sarcastic tone. "Taking a break, are we?" It didn't matter what the cat was doing, One was just feeling caged. He felt anxious and annoyed. He was probably stressed about his job. What if they failed? What then? Would they start over? Alert the king of their presence? He didn't plan far enough ahead. He didn't have the papers.
Or maybe he was just so excited to be back in the field again. Not having a plan to follow for once. He couldn't tell. Either way, he needed to rip something apart either with his claws, teeth, or words. "Tell me, cat, what is your plan for action? If we don't win this, you'll be first of my list to kill." Dandy bared his teeth, not giving a growl in fear of alerting guards and their Pokemon. Green eyes narrowed at the other Hound, sniffing the air again. "What do you call yourself?" He couldn't remember this one. Was he one of the new ones? "You are a Pup, right?" Pups were basically fresh meat to One.

Cream ears flicked back and forth, listening to all the sounds that echoed down the halls. Footsteps of distant guards, soft, almost inaudible footsteps of Pokemon, and... heels? Whoever wore heels in the middle of the night was just begging for trouble. The sound would be enough to wake the sleeping residents, and it would be enough to alert guards of someone other than themselves in the building. This was why he had chosen to go barefoot, though it might have also been to welcome the cool, smooth flooring he had known once upon a time. Green eyes swept across the hall he was in, ignoring the man asleep on the floor, before he turned down the hall. His ears perked, only to twitch in annoyance as a growl and a voice greeted him.
Stupid, good-for-nothing mutts. Too bad it had to be his superior and his fancy pooch.
The feline remained silent, keeping his gaze focused on the pair that had appeared while his ears continued to swivel around, on high alert for any sounds he might pick up. Without answering the first question, figuring it was better not to, he slowly moved over to the open window he had entered through. He softly tapped on the window sill with the knuckle of his index finger, still keeping his eyes focused on his superior while he waited. A dark form leaped onto the sill, standing tall despite his small stature. Two oddly colored tails lashed at the air before calming, small paws resting on browned hips. Golden eyes narrowed at the hounds, and the smaller feline let out a soft hmph! before jumping into the hall, landing softly on his paws.
Only then did the man speak up, keeping his expression calm despite the death threat sent to him. "Capture the king." He kept his voice soft, not wishing to alert any humans who might be wandering about. The goal of his plan was obvious, the one all of the Hounds were after. But, he wasn't going to force his way through with brute strength like the dogs might. "If my information is correct," from various books his mistress had him read, "then the king's quarters should to on the upper floors, most likely the top and heavily guarded. However, castles have secret passageways, and one should lead to the king's room, along with that of the other royalty. After all, how else are they to move them to safety in case of an... uprising?" As he spoke, his Meowstic companion moved along the inner walls, his ear held close to the structure while his paws ran along the surface.
"And... It's Alasdair."

Eyes narrowed at the newcomer, One couldn't help but bare his teeth slightly. He loved cats, sometimes, but his inner dog was so excited to finally be going forth with the plan. He could only imagine how Nine was faring during all this. Probably slaughtering some guards just for the hell of it. He kept quiet, being polite enough to listen to every word that was said. One might be a Hound and a werewolf, but he managed to hold on to some politeness and chivalry. What could he say? It was force of old habit from when he was mortal. Dandy, giving a soft snort, watched the new cat, keeping his eyes on it. Just in case these two decided to get smart. One tapped one of the pokeballs on his waist. Well, he could just let Queen have run of the place and smash into walls with Nyra. Then again, that would bring too much attention to them. At least this Pup was right about the secret passages, hopefully. This castle was well over two hundred years old or so. It was the castle of the kings before the Dark King, then the White Knight, then the generations further on till they reached the pitiful King Saab. It even belonged to the king that crushed their home. A snort of distaste ran through One's body, muffling it between clenched teeth. He wanted to find the king already and rip his throat out. Or capture him. Whichever one. It honestly didn't matter.
"Glad to see that you have a brain between those ears of yours, and not just air like the rest of the Pups," he said, glancing at Michael when the frog returned. He took the name to mind, but refused to speak it. No, that was an honor he only gave those that deserved even a sliver of his respect. Pups had yet to reach that unless they proved their worth. "When and if you find the coward, send your cat to fetch Nine or myself. I would suggest me. We don't want the king to die too soon, without gaining any information about this place and where he keeps the Region's precious files and treasure," he mumbled, glaring down a pitch black hall way. He heard guards. Michael darted, blending into the shadows as noises of steel and bodies hitting the floor ensued. "Wonderful," he muttered, "now all of Phoenix knows we're here. Hurry it up! The guards will try and kill you in a heartbeat, Pup." Dandy let out a vicious growl at the cat to get moving, not really helping himself other than repeating One's words like a parrot.
The Greninja returned once more, an arm bleeding and a few scratches, but otherwise nothing else. He had the look of sorrow in his gaze while he averted his eyes from One's glare. He had done something wrong, and that was making too much noise. If they got out of this alive, he would be lucky to go without food for a week. Staring out the window, One wished it was a full moon that night. Then this would have been so much easier. They could have made all the noise they wanted. It was, however, waxing. If they held off on this invasion till three days later, they would have been done. But now? He could feel the excitement of a shift soon to happen, just in a few more nights. That would be better to use once they have the king and to take over this city while taking out the guards that opposed them, and maybe, just maybe, gaining more followers. As long as the Region was tossed into chaos and civil war, they could follow through with their plan and take control when it was weak and on its knees. A small glint went through One's yellow eyes. This was about to get fun.

His gaze traveled to the smaller feline going about the walls, finally having enough of the sight of canines. The faster they finished this little mission of sorts, the faster he could get back to sleep. Hell, maybe he could even lounge around on some of the furniture in the castle, assuming their mission was a success. If it wasn't, then... Well, he probably wouldn't live to tell the tale, unless captured before his superiors could get to him. Then again, if they fail today, it really wasn't his fault. Nobody worked with stealth anymore! Stupid mutts, thrashing around and making too much noise. Yes, even the Arceus-forsaken frog was now a mutt. Alasdair pushed himself away from the window, giving only a twitch of the ear in acknowledgement to the superior's words. Long, thin fingers reached out, trailing on the wallpaper above his companion as he walked beside him, pausing to gently knock on the wall with his ears straining to listen.
Green eyes flicked over to the Greninja as he appeared, though he was quick to ignore the amphibian's presence along with the words of his superior. Focusing back to the wall, he walked along its length until he reached a nearby door. Bedrooms would be on the upper floors, or even the basement if they wished to place servants there. So, he shouldn't have to worry too much about walking into an occupied room. Reaching for the knob, he slowly twisted it and pushed open the door, slipping inside as the Meowstic followed. The smaller feline paused just before entering, casting a glance over his shoulder at One and his fancy pooch. He gave another hmph! before slipping inside with a flick of the tails.
The door closed behind them with a small click. Green and gold eyes scanned their surroundings with the most prominent features being bookcases and a desk on the other side of the room. According to old literature, secret passages were often opened with a certain book on a bookshelf or even a button on a desk. Alasdair glanced over at the Meowstic, and the two nodded to each other as soon as their eyes met. The redhead swiftly made his way over to the desk while the Margay busied himself with the bookshelves. Gold eyes began to glow, small arms lifting into the air as the books were encased in the same light. The books that could be removed were quickly replaced on the shelf.
Alasdair shifted through the various drawers on the desk, searching for any sort of switch or button. Finding nothing, he lifted up objects on the desk, making sure to place them almost exactly where he had grabbed them, and feeling under the desk for anything as well. His eyes adverted from the desk to one of the bookcases at the faint sound of wood scraping on wood. "Typical," he mumbled to himself, leaving the desk to squeeze through the small opening from the bookcase that had moved. The Meowstic followed after, fixing the switch disguised as a book as soon as they were both through so the entrance would seal up once more. Now all they had to do was figure out where these stairs led to.
