HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT?
Walking through the doors of the seemingly normal business-centered building, Aranya's face broke out into a Cheshire grin. Oh, how weird was this? Such an insane individual meandering into such a professional place. How funny! And rare. After all, why would someone like this Gijinka even set foot in an environment like this? Looking around with presumably all-seeing eyes, the nearly neon blue orbs scanning with a professional fine-tooth-comb, all the girl saw were stiffs. Stiffs in suits; stiffs on phones; stiffs carrying briefcases. How dull. What would someone so interesting, so spontaneous, be doing here?
Money. It was plain and simple. There weren't any missions available from he Hounds at this time, and it wasn't likely that she would get any in the first place. After all, she was still in the 'observing' stage. Even now, in the very headquarters of a rival operation, she could feel the eyes on her. Sense the emotionless judgement coming from an untraceable source. Though, that didn't mean that the stares effected her. She was used to much, much worse. Currently, it was like attacking an Onix with a feather duster. Not very effective at all.
Chuckling as she neared the front desk, she loosened her bright red tie with a single hand, the other one running smoothly through her bangs as she radiated a casual confidence, she stopped at that cold, metallic edge of the desk. The secretary looked up at her from the computer screen, the dull glow of the monitor highlighting and contrasting on her face, whatever visible on the screen being reflected in the woman's glasses. Smiling as she recognized it, Aranya had to stifle the urge to laugh. 'Galaga, huh? Man, must be a slow day~' Breaking her silence with a small chuckle, the Gijinka shook her head. It was well known around the region that there was a Loan business within the Joker cooperation. And, equally as well known, there were rules that you had to follow to get the Loaner to appear. Typically, the new Hound wouldn't follow those instructions. That would be boring. However, at the moment, she was quite desperate for some real cash. So, she guessed that she could play along for a moment or two.
Clearing her throat, she gave the woman a simple grin, her eyes covered with a mask of friendliness. "Hello ma'am. I heard that there was quite an impressive Loan Shark here. Do you happen to know where I can find him?" ... Well, this was a start, at least.
