FAQ's

There are only six Pokemon allowed per team with a limit of three companions with the character at all times.

Companions do not battle nor can they ever.

Gijinkas and shifters count as one of the Pokemon, so they can only have five Pokemon travel with them.

Walk into tall grass or walk into someone's sight then battle.

Seriously, though, you need an encounter of some sort, then you battle via training style or moderation style. Both are discussed in our Travel FAQ's and our Battle FAQ's

To capture, you throw a pokeball and hope the staff's dice love you. You can try for a recapture if you are in moderation style. If you are in training style, you will need to ask a staff to be generous.

Leveling up doesn't happen here. We are a statless site.

You don't need one. After every battle in the wild or with a trainer, your Pokemon will fully heal. The only exception to this is during training threads. Otherwise, once a battle is over, all your Pokemon heal. During a battle, however, you need items.

The only exception to this is in Training Threads (which is discussed again in the Travel FAQ's) where your Pokemon will faint after three wins and will not revive until three more battles unless they are the only Pokemon in your party.

Items that heal will need to be used when a staff member ask for them to be used during a battle or when the member sees fit. Just because we are statless doesn't mean your Pokemon won't need to be healed.

Gijinkas can be any Pokemon, evolved or shiny or special, but not a Legend.

Legendary Gijinka can be obtained when you have one hundred in character post with an active Gijinka and human combined and when you purchase a special item from the store.

Each Gijinka (or shifter) can have 1 egg move at the start. They can have any ability the Pokemon can obtain. You also choose the nature.

Yes. Yes Gijinka and shifters can.

No. No humans can not.

Shifters can be obtained one of two ways, through character creation or through an experiment.

To create a shifter, you need to follow the Gijinka regulations (located above). You are permitted one free Shifter. If you want another one, you must purchase an item in the store.

You can turn a current human or Gijinka into a Shifter by visiting the DAC and talking to their scientist or by visiting Mirun, the head breeder.

Splices are created by science in most cases. They are a mix between two to three Pokemon. You can have a splice Gijinka if you want, but Splice Shifters do not exist.

Pokemon splices are more common and can be created by Mirun if you provide him with one of the Pokemon you want spliced.

You can not start with a splice unless you purchase an item from the store. Your character can not start with a splice in their team unless another item is purchased from the store.

In order to start with a team, you must have one active trainer, coordinator, breeder, or mercenary with at least ten active in character post. Civilians are the only occupation where you can start out with Pokemon right away.

Your team will depend on what your character does.

Civilian Characters: three Pokemon, one third stage evolution, one shiny, no legends, no pseudo-legends. You chose their ability and egg move.

Breeder Characters: any four Pokemon in all, two must be the same species, male and female. No third stage evolutions, one shiny, no legends, no pseudo-legends. You chose their ability and their egg move.

Unaffiliated Characters: any four Pokemon in all. No third stage evolutions, one shiny, no legends, no pseudo-legends. You choose their ability and their egg move.

Joker Characters: four Pokemon in all, two must be dark and/or ghost types. No third stage evolutions, one shiny, no legends, no pseudo-legends. You chose their ability and their egg move.

Ranger Characters: four Pokemon in all, two must be Ranger Starter Pokemon. No third stage evolutions, one shiny, no legends, no pseudo-legends. You chose their ability and their egg move.

Mercenary Characters: four Pokemon in all, two must be Merc Starter Pokemon.No third stage evolutions, one shiny, no legends, no pseudo-legends. You chose their ability and their egg move.

No, staff will not do it for you. Staff does the money transactions.

You need a character tracker before you do anything else after you get your starter, this is where you can store and track your items and Pokemon.

You can buy items in the Market Place.

The Small Vendors (a sub-board of the Market Place) is where members will sell, trade, and buy Pokemon and sometimes items.

Poke Dollars (PD) is our currency and you obtain it by posting, or by selling things you obtain.

The bank is for you to store your money and you will gain interest on it.

If you can make it work, yes? Normal human characters can not go all Avada Kedavra on anyone cause... yeah. As for aliens, it depends on what you mean. Like a human? No... cause they are humans. Yet, if you can make it work, then chances of it passing are high. Just don't get your hopes up too high if you haven't discussed it with the admin or other staff.

Characters will obtain three starter choices when they are accepted.

If you want certain starters, please list them in the proper area so staff have an idea of what to give you.

Events are fun games for members to participate in that offer them a challenge.

They occur whenever Dew gets off her lazy tail and makes them. Overall, though, they occur once or twice a month.

Yes! Suggestions are always welcome and so are suggestions for events! If you have an idea, you can PM Dew or you can post it in the Questions and Suggestions board.

For Gym Leaders, E4, and Champ? You need to have a set type (specialized trainers, this is your stuff) and defeat the gym you want to take over along with the two gyms above them.

The same for the Elite Four, except you have to defeat all E4. The Champ doesn't matter. Once you beat the Champ, you are marked as a Champ.

A character can not be a Gym Leader, and E4, and the Champ. If you have a character that beat the Champion that wants to be a Gym Leader or E4, they must give up their Champion title.

You will need to ask Dew and the leader of the group. You will need permission from both in order to have a high ranking character of a group.

For a high ranking character in society of the Phoenix Region, like a Prime Minister or a member of the Royal Family or Army, you will need permission from Dew only. This does not mean you will get it.

The Dark Arceus (DA) is a sweet little Arceus clone that wants to enslave humanity to free Pokemon, Gijinka, and shifters from human cruelty but will accept humans that follow his cause. He likes cookies and coco, and is also obsessed with white curtains that his wife will not let him have.

No, you can not capture the main Pokemon deity. As cool as it would be. Sorry. Any other Legend, yes.

You can not capture the DA. He is Dew's baby. A.K.A. one of her characters.

Lord Giratina is also one of Monogatari's babies. So one of her characters, too.

Special Pokemon are Pokemon that have special colors. For example, a pure white Charizard or Arcanine, anyone? How about a bald eagle Braviary? Sun bear Pangoro or Ursaring? Yup, those are all special Pokemon.

You can obtain them on the Routes (very rare) or breeding them (that is what special breeders are for) or buy some from other members. You can even get them in events, on rare occasion.

Unless you have a rank in a group that lets you, you can't.

But basically, you tell a staff you want to try for a steal and they will roll dice for the outcome. You will usually fail.

You can not steal Pokemon from the lab. You will get chased down by Flame's Arcanine and her son's Darkrai and dragged back to be beaten within an inch of your life then tossed to the Rangers.

Unless you have a breeder with the proper license? No he will not.

Posting is a good start, but so is selling Pokemon you don't need or going on group missions.

Don't belong in a group? Well, you can go to Job Classifieds and get a job.

First of all, that is a huge job only available to the admin and her lovely staff because bosses directly control and monitor the plot of the site. A boss can change the direction of the whole site in a second.

Second of all, Dew needs to trust you first and know you won't abuse the privilege of having one of the most powerful characters on the site.

Third of all, most boss places are taken up. If you work hard enough, though, maybe something can be worked out.

Mini-bosses can be gained if you create your own group and get permission to do so, though.

Stars are used to judge the difficulty of the NPC Trainers, Gym Leaders, E4, and Champ.

Members and their characters can not obtain stars unless they get a character to be a Leader, E4, or a Champ themselves.

Easy and Intermediate are commonly seen on Routes for NPC Trainers. They are also used for the first few Gyms.

Hard and Professional are commonly seen on the last few Gyms and in the E4.

Master is used on the Champion.

Arceus is used on the bosses.
