XICOHTENCATL TLAPALTECATL

xicohtencatl. aggron. male. ominous nature. rock head ability. body slam. 

arsenic. shuppet. male. caring nature. insomnia ability. confuse ray.
    the shuppet is more so one of the kinder ones xico has on his team. caring for others, making sure that they are okay, and even sharing whatever food he is given so that others can have more. no doubt that he would be more like the one to give medical help to the other pokemon on xico's team. he isn't always with xico for this reason, usually left behind in the house to keep watch of things there. 

aphrodisiac. shuppet. female. malevolent nature. cursed body ability. destiny bond. given a banettite.
    in short, she goes everywhere with him. mainly in her pokeball so she doesn't get hurt or causes to much trouble, aphrodisiac is not beyond attempting to hurt others or try to cause them some sort of harm. and with this intent towards others, it is fairly reasonably why x would try his best to leave her inside the pokeball while he is out and about. but, he does make sure to take good care of her like his other pokemon- and that may be why she is fairly attached personality wise.

    the quieter of the bunch when it comes to all his pokemon. which are only nine or so, plus a companion, but still. she appears to get along with the others, having more of a neutral personality, but she is pretty sly by nature. due to this, x is kept on his toes a lot with the things she does. whether it is from making sure she doesn't take the other pokemons food, or hide something that is his.

aconite. bagon. female. blunt nature. rock head ability. dragon dance.
    the only dragon pokemon of the team, aconite doesn't really fit in with the others and tends to speak of it straight forwardly. x really doesn't mind her on the team, and thinks she is great to have along- so he really doesn't mind her opinion of the situation. but due to x's personality, it is left to the others to comfort her and reassure her that she belongs with them. however caring their caretaker can be, he just doesn't offer comfort like some of the others.

polonium. driftloon. male. selfish nature. unburden ability. disable.
    cyanide and polonium- the driftloons that tend to help him once in a while around the work place. whether it is navigating around spills and leaks, or leading him to where he needs to go. polonium is more selfish than cyanide, always wanting to be the center of attention and not wanting to share what is his. what he has been earned or given. a bit bossy too, and rather impatient.

    the kinder of the two driftloons who help xicohtencatl around the work place is cyanide. a very generous driftloon by nature, he'll usually give his things up to the more selfish one- polonium. and opposite of the other, he doesn't try to claim attention or take over a situation- he merely tries to do what he can to help like he is suppose to do. but, he does love attention and whenever he can get any- he'll be quite a happy pokemon.

mercury. zoura. female. motherly nature. illusion ability. pursuit.
    mercury is probably the one that holds them all together. arsenic may try to make sure everyone is comfortable and healthy, but mercury is the one who makes sure they have food in the house and they have what they need as necessities. this may derive from her motherly personality, but she does her best to remain kind and caring- keeping an eye on them. she usually stays home with arsenic too.

belladonna. anorith. male. silly nature. battle armor ability. cross poison. companion.
    some pokemon with xico find this anorith annoying. maybe because he goofs off to much, and he can't really take situation seriously. always wanting to play around and do something fun. he tends to be rather silly too, but xico doesn't mind. even if belladonna can be annoying sometimes, it is probably this one who can cheer up the others the most efficiently. only a companion pokemon, belladonna is usually napping within xico's large coat or resting in his hair.

after one gets to know xico, it is clear he is not a very nice man. he is selfish in a sense, even if he'll care for those close to him, and he has a large amount of confidence. a bit relentless when it comes to getting what he wants, he'll bypass anything to get it. while, doing his best to keep those who are close to him just as that. even if it is quite difficult to do so, and then they'd have to deal with his cruelty anyways. which is just another word for abuse. his pokemon don't have to suffer like the humans and gijinkas that are close to him do, and he just sees pokemon as better company than anything else.

but, he doesn't come off like this. he comes off as a sickeningly sweet man who will flirt and work hard with what he does. who will talk nicely and seemingly not lie, though he most likely is. and he seems like a respectable young man too, when one first talks to him. considering he will try to be polite at first, until one gets to close. kind of like a venus fly trap and the others are flies. if you get to close, he'll bite. but at a distance, he is just some sort of pretty plant that seems exotic and strange.

yet, either side of him, he'll be respectful to those he sees as superior and will still hold his beliefs close to him even if he is pressured to change his faith or anything else close to him. in a sense, he isn't beyond standing up for these things or himself either.

childhood. how was it? well, most kids would answer 'oh, just fine,' or 'pretty normal,'. maybe even share a couple interesting stories that they thought were funny, or odd from other peoples. but, not xico. his parents were psychotic, they suffered from multiple disorders and sociopathy- but somehow the two parents clicked. and, for some unknown reason, they left into an underground tunnel system in the outskirts of the phoenix region. this underground tunnel system was something the couple kind of maneuvered together, and they settled down there a year before xico was born. a year after his older sister was born.

his mother was a jack of all trades in a sense. she could hack electrical wiring, computer programs, she knew how to build things with her hands, and construct a lot of stuff. so, she kept up maintenance in their weird little home. And shortly after Xico was born, she built a skylight so they could see the outdoors without venturing out into it. his father did research, and kept up everything else. cooking, cleaning, washing things- but never really watching xico or any of his siblings. which, by the age of six, he had one older sister, one younger sister, and a younger brother. four children left to their own devices over the years.

their arguments were like the game of thrones, their relationship were probably like the ones angels and demons would have, and their games could simply be summed up as battle royale. or, as times went on, game of thrones as well. none of them liked each other, they all hated each other. so hurting each other, sometimes even going as far as creating severe lacerations on one another during their teen years or even trying to strangle one another, was pretty satisfying for them. they couldn't really explain the hate either, all they knew is they just didn't like eaCH OTHER. AND THEY thought it was better if none of them exist. 

and considering that they lived two hundred miles from the mainland on a fairly small island covered in thick forests and some wetlands, those injuries had to be cleaned and taken care of. whichever injuries were inflicted. and that usually was left up to the father. Who did his best, but didn't really care if they got injured. neither of the parents really watched them or cared about them, to say the least. It was also the reason they could sneak out later on in life.

and the only times they could really get along would be when they were forced to share a room together, or when they were ganging up on someone to follow through with a dare that they encouraged so much, and with the one getting ganged up on to terrified to do it until he was forced. so in the end, the childhood and teenage years of these four could be considered survival of the fittest. it didn't matter if one was sick, or one was injured, or out of shape, but one way or another everyone was going to go out into the forest and wetlands to play. 

now what did they play? well, it could be considered something like battle royale but later the game of thrones. they'd pretty much go out and fight each other, play around in the wilderness, and see who would get injured and go home first. and who would be the last one standing. it later became a non-spoken rule that whoever managed to last through the wilderness and the fighting the longest and came home last got the most food during dinner. that the person would get the extra piece of whatever, instead of fighting over who got that too. 

during their teen years was when it became more serious. xico was fourteen, his sister had just turned sixteen- xico was turning fifteen too. his younger brother was twelve, and his younger sister was ten. and it was during one of their games when something quite terrifying happened. Yes, they choked each other and caused lacerations during these years with whatever they could find, but no one died. up until that time. 

basically what happened is the twelve year old boy had climbed up a tree to get away from xico's taunting, trying to get him to come down from the tree so they could fight and see who was stronger. to see if it'd send someone home. the boy didn't want to, he was injured and exhausted and just wanted to go home without facing another fight. and, xico finally got bored and left him alone. not long after, the older sister came along and attempted to do the same. except, she began to start to throw rocks at him. Slipping and falling, the boy grasped onto the branch the best he could to hang on but he eventually fell- the branch breaking off with his weight too.

the girl ended up paralyzed from the waist down due to the weight of the branch, and the boy died. now, the back breaking part and the internal bleeding was enough to get her rushed to the mainland hospital. they didn't tell anyone about the boy, and instead buried him on the island. one broken, and two battered, they finally saw the mainland for their first time and they were absolutely amazed. now xico didn't want to wait to go out on his own, so he ventured around during the day while his parents fussed over the eldest for the first time in their life. and through this wondering, xico found an odd little building.

out of curiosity, he went inside. it got more complicated afterwards, due to legal issues and everything. but, inside of that building, he found research labs and various things- after talking and contemplating decisions for the next couple of days and continuing visits, he decided that he wanted to submit himself as a test subject. his parents let him too, after consulting them and talking it over with him. 

various things were tested on him. medication (more so the pseudo pills), and other things. but, the also did an experiment with him. if it could be called that. at sixteen, he was made into a gijinka, an aggron to be exact. it was a painful process but xico did his best to tolerate it, and he loved the aftermath. communicating with pokemon, and even being stronger than he was before. though his mood did darken a bit afterwards.

at this facility, he also learned multiple new things. at home, he wasn't taught a lot and could barely read or write when he submitted himself to be a test subject. by the time he left the facility at the age of twenty four, he was able to read and write well, he had advanced a lot in math and science, and learned some things about history. and when he did get out of the facility, he had found himself working in a chemistry research facility instead. it basically tested chemicals, worked with chemicals, so on and so forth. it took him a while to get an apartment but one was soon bought, even if it was a bit run down.

and over the course of his adventures, he even made a few friends along the way.
