Kuranosuke would never be caught dead in modern day clothing. He prefers the more traditional attire of ages old, and he'll waltz around in a kimono or yukata like it is nothing. As for his shoes, he wears geta. Of course, due to character development, this has changed as he has gotten used to the concept of pants.Description:
Kuranosuke could easily be mistaken for a high class man of power--pale skin, pale hair, an air of authority, and let's not forget those fancy clothes. Despite that, he isn't one. He just likes to look like one. Kuranosuke stands at 5'9", though the geta add another two inches to his height. He only weighs one hundred and thirty pounds which is rather thin for a man his height. How is that thin? Well, about twenty pounds of that is made up of his tails. Yes, those nine, long, blue-tipped silver tails are quite heavy. The ears on top of his head don't add much to his weight, but they do add to his sense of hearing, strengthening it well above that of a normal human. His nails are also black claws. Personality:
Like his Pokemon counterpart, Kuranosuke is quite intelligent despite never going to school. He more or less relies on logic and the world around him to figure things out. Loyalty, having been programmed into him, is something he never fails on. Once he ties some form of bond or simply signs a contract, there is no going back. He'll never go against you, even at gunpoint. This could be fatal on his part, but he doesn't seem to care. The air around Kuranosuke is that of power and superiority, and his pride holds no boundaries. He keeps his head up and his back straight, and his attitude has been described as cold and condescending towards others, namely strangers. Oh, and he isn't very fond of people touching his tails. He has been known to Hex people if they do.History:
Birth was never something he had the privilege of experiencing. No, Kuranosuke was created. He was a mere test subject in a project held by a group of old, experienced, power hungry scientists. They had two samples of DNA, that of human and that of a Ninetales. Splicing the two together, they put it inside a human egg and then into a machine that would allow the egg to grow. They watched for ten years as the egg grew, changing into a fetus, into an infant, a toddler, and finally into a child. As a fetus, there were nine tails instead of the usual single tail a human child starts out with in the womb. Two triangular ears formed as well, though they were folded against his head. As an infant, more features showed, such as fur on his ears and tails, small claws, and silvery hair. The eye color was uncertain.
The toddler stayed relatively small with most of the growth occurring in the tails. As a child, movement was detected. His organs, having been the slowest to develop, were deemed fully functional, and his heart was beating almost twice as fast as a normal human. They took note of this, but they didn't seem too concerned. At age ten, he woke up. The first sign was the swishing of his tails and a flick of the ear. Then his eyes fluttered open. He uncurled from his fetal position, frowning at the scientists who crowded around him. The liquid keeping him afloat and providing him with nutrients slowly drained, and he had to place his hands on either side of the glass to keep himself from falling to the ground. But then the glass was removed, and he fell forwards into the awaiting arms.
The years passed him by as he continued to grow. He was taught many of the basics while he was in the laboratory: how to speak, write (latin), read (latin), and walk. That was really all they focused on, and he had to find other education elsewhere (which usually consisted of him doodling with his claws on the wall or raiding the books scattered around him). His first venture outside had been quite the culture shock to the boy. You mean the world didn't revolve around the lab? There was more to see? Talk about a midlife crisis.
Kuranosuke wasn't given the luxury of staying inside the laboratory all his life. No, he was sold off, probably to pay for the debt the men piled up during the project. His new place of residence? The Black Jokers.
