♚ Moves && Abilities
♙Moves
♟ Abilities
-A Pokemon can know and use all the level up moves available to their species. A Charizard knows all the level up moves from itself to Charmeleon to Charmander. A Charmeleon will know all level ups moves from itself to Charmander. A Charmander will just know level up moves from itself.
-Each Pokemon has one egg move that is either decided by the member (if they created the Pokemon with a character) or by staff upon an encounter or gaining the Pokemon.

♚ Evolving
♙Level Up
♟ Stones
♙Happiness && Time of Day
♟ Trade && Places
♙ Mega Evolution
-Pokemon can evolve from a first stage to a second stage after being in ten different battles (wild Pokemon or not).
-Pokemon can evolve from a second stage to a third stage after being active in about twenty battles (wild Pokemon or not, past ten battles from first to second stage count).

♟ Stones
-In order to evolve a Pokemon with a stone, you will need to obtain the stone by buying it, winning it in an event, or finding it on a Route.
♙Happiness && Time of Day
-In order to evolve a Pokemon by happiness, they will need to actually like your character. This means the character needs to be nice to them and use them. That does not mean feeding your Pokemon a few Pokepuffs or Poffins. This means: using the Pokemon, keeping the Pokemon from fainting in a battle, healing it when it is injured, cheering it on and giving praise, and showing them off. Staff will judge past threads the Pokemon has been involved in and see if they can actually evolve by happiness. You can not say 'the Pokemon was oh so happy with his/her trainer and never wanted to live anywhere else'. Pokemon must develop to like their trainer, chances are, they won't like them very much as soon as they are captured or obtained. So to ensure the Pokemon is actually happy, it will take ten threads with over ten posts with that Pokemon in each thread as well as what was listed above to evolve them this way.
-In order to evolve a Pokemon by time of day (with anything else required for the evolution) you must clearly state it is that time of day in the thread. This will also require ten threads with over then post with that Pokemon in each thread. While describing the time of day, be sure you actually describe it and not just say 'twas night time. Spooky.' or something like that. Put effort into it or staff will not allow your Pokemon to evolve. The Pokemon also needs to be active in the thread you wish to evolve them in, which means they have to be out and mentioned and doing things, instead of just sitting there staring at something like a Psyduck.

♟ Trade && Places
-To evolve a Pokemon via trade, you will need to ask a staff to confirm the evolution. Before you do this, though, the Pokemon must be involved in at least ten battles (any battle counts).
-To evolve by places, look at the area FAQ's or contact staff with areas that you can evolve your Pokemon at (i.e. Leafeon can be evolved in the jungle). This will require at least 10 battles with that Pokemon (any battle, anywhere). Please notify staff when you want to evolve that Pokemon. Also, provide the links or the proof that that Pokemon has been involved in 10 battles prior to evolution.

♙ Mega Evolution
-In order to Mega Evolve, you need a Pokemon with the proper stone and at the proper evolution.
-You can have one Pokemon in your party that can mega evolve and that owns a stone. This means if you have a team of Charizards, only one can become a Mega.

♚ Battle
♙Basics
♟ Member versus Staff
♙Member versus Member
-Attacking, status changing, and defense moves can only be successful twice in a row. The more a move is used, the higher the chance of the move failing (this means if you keep using Protect it will probably fail the third time and if you use Flamethrower it might not work/miss the third time).
-Move power will be judged on how many threads the Pokemon has been in (active and involved), in the past and what evolution it is, as well as by staff call. Move power will also be judged by the actual stat based power in the games, however, a newborn Pokemon can not have the same level of attack as an adult. For example, a newborn Charmander will not be able to have the same attack power as a ten year old Charmander, even if neither are evolved. The more threads a Pokemon is involved and active in, and the longer it has been with the trainer, will mean the older it is and perhaps stronger. The more battles a Pokemon has been in, win or lose, will mean a stronger attack and better battle tactics.
-Gym Challenges have three choices of the Pokemon team you can face. Staff will choose one of the three choices based on your current Team. The difficulty remains the same but the different evolution and the more Pokemon in each challenge can determine the strength of attacks and the team as a whole.

♟ Member versus Staff
-During a battle with a wild Pokemon or a NPC Trainer, a staff member will provide a short paragraph of personality with a minimum word count of the Pokemon's difficulty if you choose to battle the Pokemon.
-You will write out a post, stating your battling Pokemon versus the wild Pokemon, with listed stats (name, gender, species, ability), and write out a battle to the minimum word count. Failure to list out the stats of your battling Pokemon will result in your battle being ignored and being called out on it.
-If you want to skip the battle, state so and you will get another encounter.
-If you would like to attempt a capture on a wild Pokemon, state so in the thread in some easily seen way. Not in the 3rd paragraph, sentence four or something. Make sure staff can spot it right away. Then dice will be rolled to see if you can capture the Pokemon.

♙Member versus Member
-The members will battle via posting. They will each describe attacks and the like and will decide hits and misses.
-A staff member will be at the thread at all times to make sure no one has all hits and all misses on some moves. Members found breaking the basic rules will be declared the loser.
-The normal battle rules apply, if a Pokemon from Trainer A has won three gym battles and the Pokemon from Trainer B has one one, Trainer A will probably win unless Trainer A has been in more active threads with the Pokemon in them and involved, and if they take more time to describe their Pokemon during the battle with moves and the like.

♚ Obedience && Natures
♙Obedience
♟ Natures
-Pokemon will only obey the characters that have earned their loyalty and proved themselves. Even the sweetest of Pokemon won't obey a fresh off the boat rookie or even Pokemon with you for a long time if you can't prove yourself.
-First and Second stage Pokemon that have been with the character for several threads with them active in the post will obey characters with five or more badges without question.
-Pokemon traded or just caught will obey their trainers after participating in several threads, while being active in the post. If the trainer has five or more badges, the Pokemon might listen to them at times, but not at all moments in and out of battle.
-Pokemon that evolve to their second or final stage when a member has 1.) not had them for long or 2.) have less than five gym badges, will not have the Pokemon obey them as well as they once did. These stages are some of the most rebellious in some Pokemon and they might fight back against their trainer, regardless of how many threads and posts they have been active in, as in, doing something besides sitting there or being mentioned.
-Any Pokemon active in over fifteen threads, each with over fifty posts they have been active in, as in, doing something besides sitting there or being mentioned, will obey their trainer regardless of evolution or gym badge count.

♟ Natures
-Pokemon will change natures every evolution, excluding Mega Evolution.
A first stage Pokemon will change natures upon evolving to their second stage, and second stage Pokemon will change natures upon evolving to their third stage.
-Staff will post the nature change when they hand out the evolution, given the member deserves the evolution and passes all requirements.
